SMILE Charitable Trust owes its existence to a group of former classmates from Mountain View School Chikmagalur, whose reunion after nearly three decades planted the seed of change.
Amidst laughter and reminiscences, the idea of uplifting the underprivileged struck a chord, igniting a journey of purpose.
During the course of the event, a few kind souls wanted to take some concrete steps toward providing assistance for the financially weaker section of society.
After much brainstorming, a decision was made.
The best way forward was to start an organization that provided quality education to youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds.
