All the while letting the waves wash away your problems.

Isn’t it time you ditched the clock and let time slowly unfold? Devbagh is the place to do it.

Fresh fish is brought in, and the fisherfolk are busy sorting them when you visit the fishing village nearby.

Instead, you could just observe the fishermen as they work, and enjoy fishing yourself, all this while sharing a dugout with a fisherman as a company.

The trawlers at the fishing harbor, loaded with their haul, can be spotted easily.

You may also make a pilgrimage by taking in the sights and sounds of Rabindranath Tagore’s journey.

The Kumaragarh, Oyster-rock, Anjudeep, and Sanyasi islands off the Karwar coast all contain mystery and magic.

The River Tern Lodge is nestled on a hillock adjacent to the Bhadra reservoir, near Lakkavali, in the Chikmaglur district of Karnataka.

A jeep safari in the evening is a chance to see leopards, tigers, gaurs, elephants, crocodiles, deer, wild boars, monitor lizards, and more.

There are over 200 species of birds to delight bird enthusiasts at the River Tern Lodge, including Grey junglefowl, Racket tailed drongos, Malabar pied hornbills, brown fish owls, grey-headed fish eagles, ospreys, white-bellied sea eagles, river terns (January to June) and serpent eagles, among others.

The Sahyadris are a precious treasure in the tiara of Karnataka’s splendor.

They are home to various rare flora and fauna unique to this area.

Wetlands, gushing rivers, lush grasslands, and a significant forest cover make the Sahyadris a treasure trove of rare creatures and plants.

The Sahyadris are most vibrant during the monsoons when new life springs up everywhere.

The River Sharavathi plunges from a breathtaking height of 830 feet, creating India’s tallest waterfall, the Jog Falls.

In the rainy season, the view of the Jog Falls is the best when it cascades as four distinct waterfalls — the Raja, Rani, Rocket, and Roarer.

Located just 6 km from Jog Falls, Sharavathi Adventure Camp is an excellent location to appreciate the refreshing melange of sunshine and rain.

A hillock skirting the Talakkalale Reservoir, this resort is a great destination to absorb the exciting dichotomy of sunshine and rain.

Every season provides a new reason to visit these therapeutic mountains.

The Sharavthi Nature Camp is a great place to enjoy the quintessential magic of the monsoons after the rain-soaked clouds have left.

The weather is suitable for outdoors after the rain has fallen.

In nature walks, you can savor the pastoral tranquility of the surroundings.
