Vidyarthi Bhavan was set up in early 1943-44 by Venkataramana Ural from a place called Saligrama near Udupi.

Later, it was passed on to his brother, Parameshwara Ural, and the restaurant bloomed in popularity.

In 1970, Ramakrishna Adiga took over Vidyarthi Bhavan.

While the management did change, the name, recipes, and tradition remained the same. And so did the service of several employees working here.

In 2005, Arun Kumar Adiga joined his father, Ramakrishna Adiga, by quitting his engineering job.

Vidyarthi Bhavan has a long history of satisfied customers and is known for its delicious food and friendly service.

It’s a go-to destination for people looking for tasty, traditional South Indian food in a casual and comfortable setting.
