Spread across 65 acres of area, the MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology was founded 61 years ago in 1962 with the motto “Service to humanity is the service to God.”

The founder of the MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology was a noted industrialist, entrepreneur, educationist, and philosopher Shri M.S Ramaiah.

He was a great visionary who saw the distant future and transformed the lives of millions by shaping their careers to the ultimate best.

The MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is named after its founder late Shri M.S Ramaiah and is currently headed by his son Mr. M.R Seetharam, as the director.

• Graduated with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Should have scored 50% marks in all of the years of the degree examination and 45% marks in the case of the students from Karnataka.

Admission and Eligibility (MCA)

• Graduated with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Should have scored 50% marks in all of the years of the degree examination with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects/ electives at the degree level.
