Started in 2021, The Rameshwaram Cafe became the go-to spot for Bangaloreans in the post-lockdown era.
Bangalore is known as the IT Hub of India and with its booming start-up ecosystem, hundreds and thousands of young minds from across the country get flown down to Bangalore with a head full of ideas and heart full of passion.
It was just a matter of time for the city to adapt to the hustling hulks of the country.
And this is where The Rameshwaram Cafe has hit the gold.
It caters exactly to these new young adults who are starting out afresh in the city of Bangalore.
Some are here fresh out of university for their dream job while others have dropped out of their university to create their dream job.
With hunger in their eyes and passion in their hearts, it usually gets hard to keep up with the hunger of the stomach.
Most of them don’t know how to cook a meal for themselves.
And to be honest, cooking three times a day and cleaning afterward takes more time than you think.
With establishments in the prime locations of Bangalore, and services provided all day, all night (almost all night, till 1 AM), The Rameshwaram Cafe has offered an alternative to these young adults to not go to sleep hungry and avoid eating junk ordering online.

The cafe created a lot of buzz when financial analysts and enthusiasts came up with astonishing numbers in their case studies and secondary research about the business’s profit margins and turnover.
According to the reports, one outlet of The Rameshwaram Cafe does INR 4.5 Crores a month with over 70% of profit margins.
The speculations led to a whooping INR 50 Crores of yearly turnover.
Interestingly enough, there has been no confirmation given on these numbers by the founders.
When asked about these numbers in a podcast, Co-Founder and MD CA Divya Rao laughed and said, “I don’t want to lie….We are doing good business.”
However, she has dismissed the speculation around the 70% profit margin and said, it’s impossible to maintain a 70% profit margin in a restaurant business.
The pure ghee, high-quality raw materials, 24×7 kitchen, staff, salary, and insurance, expenses don’t allow them to keep such a high profit margin.
The Rameshwaram Cafe is available on Zomato, Swiggy, and Dunzo for customers to order online.
The cafe opens at 6:30 AM in the morning every day and closes at 1:00 AM every night.
