My verdict
AWeber's case is support and stability. If you are a non-technical business owner who wants to ring somebody when a campaign will not send, almost nobody else in this category offers that, and it has real value.
On features and price it is behind. MailerLite costs less and feels more modern, Kit handles sequences better, and the template library here looks a decade old.
If you are already on it and it works, stay. If you are choosing now and do not specifically need phone support, choose something newer.
