Priced by monthly submissions rather than form count, so estimate volume rather than how many forms you will build.
The free tier for straightforward forms. The Bronze or Silver tier when you need payments, calculations or approvals, which is the reason to be here at all.

My verdict
Jotform is where I go when a form is genuinely complicated: calculated quotes, deposits, file uploads, approval routing, a PDF at the end. Nothing else in this category handles that combination without development work.
It is the wrong tool for a contact form. The interface is dense, the output is functional rather than elegant, and Typeform or your WordPress form plugin will serve a simple enquiry better.
The PDF generation deserves more attention than it gets. Turning a submission into a formatted quote automatically removes a genuine chunk of admin from a service business.
