Nuha Patisserie & Cafe, Indiranagar: My Sweet Escape into “Paris on a Plate”

If you’ve ever wished you could casually sip coffee in Paris without dealing with visas, flight tickets, or jet lag, well, same here. 😄

And guess what?

I may have found the closest thing to it right here in Indiranagar.

Let me introduce you to Nuha Patisserie & Cafe.

Nuha Patisserie & Cafe is where desserts feel like art, coffee feels like therapy, and one visit is never enough

A cozy, classy, slightly-hidden gem that feels like someone took a slice of Europe, added Bangalore’s charm, and sprinkled it with… butter.

Lots of butter. 😉

My First Impression (a.k.a. “Where has this been all my life?”)

Nuha Patisserie & Cafe, Indiranagar

(Source: Google)

Tucked away off 100 ft Road (on Shri Krishna Temple Road), this place doesn’t scream for attention.

And honestly, I like it that way. It’s the kind of café you discover, not just walk into.

The moment I stepped in, I noticed:

  • Warm beige tones and minimal aesthetics
  • Calm, quiet vibe (yes, you can actually hear your own thoughts here)
  • A bakery display that tests your self-control immediately

And then there’s Ms. Nuha herself. The heart and soul behind the café.

What I loved is how hands-on she is.

From baking most of the desserts to personally supervising what goes out of the kitchen, you can tell this isn’t just a business for her.

It’s passion on a plate.

She’s often around, interacting with guests, suggesting what to try, and making sure everything feels just right.

Honestly, it’s rare to see that level of personal involvement these days, and it shows in every bite.

You don’t just feel like a customer here… more like a guest.

The Food: Where Things Get Seriously Interesting

The Food at Nuha Patisserie & Cafe, Indiranagar

(Source: Google)

Let’s get straight to the point. This is not your regular “coffee + sandwich” café.

The menu here has personality. And a little attitude.

The Desserts (The Real Stars)

I’ll say this upfront.

If you come here and don’t order dessert… we need to talk.

  • Basque Cheesecake – Creamy, slightly burnt, and dangerously addictive
  • Rocher Croissant – Flaky, buttery, chocolatey perfection
  • Belgium Ingot – Basically, a chocolate heaven in geometric form
  • Pull-me-up cakes – Instagram called, it wants its reel back

Every dessert feels handcrafted. And that’s because it is.

Ms. Nuha either bakes or personally supervises most of them. You can actually taste the difference.

The Savoury Side (Plot Twist: Equally Good)

Now here’s where things get interesting. This café doesn’t stop at desserts.

Some standout dishes I either tried or wish I had space for:

  • Nihari Bunny Chow – Rich, flavourful, an absolute must-try
  • Butter Chicken Khachapuri – Fusion done right (yes, it works!)
  • Buttermilk Fried Chicken – Crowd favorite
  • Kheema Pav – Spicy, comforting, slightly addictive
  • Butter Garlic Prawns – Perfectly cooked and full of flavour
  • Biryani Pasta – Sounds confusing… tastes amazing

Honestly, the menu feels like someone had fun creating it.

And we’re all benefiting from it.

Coffee, Matcha & Everything in Between

  • Thick, rich Hot Chocolate (a bit sweet for some, but indulgent!)
  • Tiramisu Coffee – Easily one of the most talked-about drinks
  • Coconut Cold Coffee – Subtle, refreshing, and surprisingly good
  • Classic coffees, teas, and matcha options

This is the kind of place where you come for coffee… and end up staying for 3 hours.

Ambience & Experience: Quiet is the New Luxury

Let me say this.

Finding a quiet café in Bangalore is harder than finding parking in Indiranagar (which, by the way, is also tough here 😅).

But once you’re inside:

  • It’s calm
  • It’s cozy
  • It’s conversation-friendly

Perfect for:

  • Dates ❤️
  • Catch-ups ☕
  • Solo coffee + laptop days 💻
  • Or just pretending you’re in Europe for a bit 🇫🇷

Is It Worth the Price?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer:

Yes, it’s slightly on the premium side. But considering:

  • Quality of ingredients
  • Portion sizes
  • Unique menu
  • Overall experience

…it absolutely justifies the price.

What I Loved (and a Tiny Honest Note)

Nuha Patisserie & Cafe, Indiranagar, Ambience

(Source: Google)

Let me be honest.

I walked in expecting “just another pretty café in Indiranagar.”

I walked out mentally planning my next visit and wondering if it’s socially acceptable to come here just for dessert… three times a week. 😀

What I Absolutely Loved

  • Desserts that actually live up to the hype
Not just good-looking (hello, Instagram), but genuinely delicious. That Basque cheesecake? Still living rent-free in my head.
  • A menu that’s not afraid to experiment
Nihari with bunny chow? Butter chicken in a khachapuri? This place clearly didn’t get the memo about playing it safe. And I’m glad.
  • Hands-on ownership (and it shows)
With Ms. Nuha actively involved, there’s a certain warmth and attention to detail you don’t find everywhere. It feels personal.
  • Ambience that doesn’t scream for attention
No loud music, no chaos. Just a calm, cozy space where you can actually talk, think, or just sip your coffee in peace.
  • Perfect for multiple moods
    Date? ✔️
    Catch-up with friends? ✔️
Solo “main character energy” coffee moment? ✔️✔️

A Tiny Honest Note (Because I Like Keeping It Real)

  • Parking can test your patience
But then again… welcome to Indiranagar 😄
  • A few items may lean towards the sweeter side
Great if you’ve got a sweet tooth (you’ll love it), but if you don’t, you might want to balance things out with a savoury dish.
  • You might end up overspending… accidentally
Not because it’s overpriced, but because you’ll keep saying, “Let’s just try one more thing.” Dangerous. Very dangerous.
