Toit Bangalore: My Go-To Brewpub Experience in Namma Ooru

If you ask me what the “true Bangalore experience” feels like, I’ll give you a list of three things.

Enjoying a filter coffee at a Darshini, getting stuck in traffic on Outer Ring Road, and grabbing a pint at Toit Bangalore.

Toit isn’t just a pub. It’s a Bangalore landmark.

The kind of place that has stories woven into the lives of countless Bangaloreans (mine included).

For over a decade now, Toit Indiranagar has been the go-to spot for after-work catch-ups, Friday night plans, and those “one beer turned into five” kinds of evenings.

I still remember my first visit to Toit, walking into this buzzing space on 100 Feet Road, surrounded by the clink of glasses, chatter from every corner, and that unmistakable aroma of freshly brewed beer.

At Toit, it’s never just about the beer — it’s about stories, laughter, and memories brewed into every pint.

It wasn’t just about drinking.

It was about being part of something bigger, a community of people who loved good beer, good food, and good vibes.

What makes Toit truly special is that it’s managed to keep that charm alive even as it expanded.

From Toit Indiranagar to Toit Mahadevapura, and now with bottled beers and ciders making their way to shelves, Toit has stayed true to its original vision.

Craft beer made with heart, served in a space where you can kick back and be yourself.

So, whether you’re new to the city and Googling “best pubs in Bangalore,” or a seasoned Bangalorean who already has “Tint-In-Wit” on speed-dial, Toit deserves a spot on your weekend plans.

Quick Information: Toit Bangalore

First Impressions at Toit Bangalore: The Ambience

The moment you step into Toit Indiranagar, it feels like you’ve entered a world that balances chaos and comfort in the best possible way.

The rustic wooden interiors, the brick walls, the dim golden lights, and that buzz of conversation all around, it’s like Toit is permanently in celebration mode.

There’s something incredibly warm about the place.

Even if you walk in alone, you never really feel out of place.

The seating is thoughtfully spread out.

You’ve got cozy corners perfect for date nights, long tables for big gang reunions, and the ever-popular bar counter if you just want to sit, sip, and chat with the bartenders (trust me, they always have fun stories).

And let’s not forget the open vibe near the outdoor seating, a great spot when Bangalore weather decides to be kind.

If you’re an Instagram person (and honestly, who isn’t these days?), the Toit Bangalore photos practically take themselves.

The lighting is moody but flattering, the interiors are industrial yet chic, and even the pint glasses have that photogenic appeal.

I’ve seen more than a few people spend the first 10 minutes of their evening just trying to get the perfect shot of their beer against the brick wall backdrop.

Guilty as charged! 🍺📸

Now, if you hop over to Toit Mahadevapura, the vibe is slightly different but equally fun.

Since it’s inside a tech park, the space is larger and airier, with plenty of room for bigger groups.

The outdoor section here really shines, perfect for Bangalore evenings when the breeze is just right.

It’s less “cosy pub” and more “laid-back beer garden,” which makes it a refreshing alternative when you don’t want to deal with the always-busy Indiranagar traffic.

Both outlets, though, carry the same DNA.

A welcoming space where the music isn’t too loud to kill conversation, the laughter feels infectious, and the energy keeps you rooted to your table longer than you planned.

Toit has nailed that sweet spot where ambience matches perfectly with the pint in your hand.

The Beer: The Real Star

Alright, let’s be honest.

Most of us don’t go to Toit Bangalore just to “hang out.” We go for the beer.

And not just any beer, but the kind that makes you feel like the brewers really poured their soul (and probably a few sleepless nights) into every pint.

The first time I tried their Tint-In-Wit, I remember thinking: “Wait, beer can taste like this?”

Light, citrusy, with just a hint of coriander and orange peel, it was refreshing in a way bottled beers from the supermarket can only dream of being.

It’s no wonder it’s their most popular brew.

Then there’s the Nitro Stout, which deserves its own fan club.

Dark, smooth, creamy, and slightly chocolatey, this is comfort in a glass.

It’s also India’s first nitrogenated beer, which basically means it feels silkier and smoother than your usual stout.

Pro tip: if you get this in a bottle, make sure you pour it the right way (there’s an art to it).

For days when I’m in the mood for something desi with a twist, I go for the Basmati Blonde.

Yes, brewed with actual Basmati rice!

It’s light, aromatic, and somehow feels like a marriage between your Sunday pulao and your weekend pint, and weirdly enough, it works.

And of course, I can’t forget the Red Ale and India Pale Ale (IPA).

The Red Ale has this caramel sweetness that pairs beautifully with its bitterness, while the IPA hits you with that strong hop-and-malt punch.

Perfect for days when you want your beer to fight back a little.

The Hefeweizen, with its banana-and-clove notes, is another crowd favorite.

And if you’re still undecided, here’s my rule: order the sampler first.

That way, you get to try them all (and then order a full pint of the one that stole your heart).

Bottom line?

Toit isn’t just a pub in Bangalore serving random beers.

It’s a brewpub where each beer has its own identity.

And once you find your beer here, it’ll keep you coming back.

Food That Matches the Brews

Of course, beer is only half the story.

Toit has cracked the code on food that doesn’t just go with the beer, it elevates the whole experience.

I mean, you could sit with just pints all night, but why would you, when the Toit Bangalore menu is as tempting as it is?

Let’s start with the wood-fired pizzas.

There’s something magical about that smoky, slightly charred crust topped with just the right balance of cheese and toppings.

I’ve lost count of how many times a pizza has been placed at the center of our table, only to mysteriously vanish in record time.

It’s the kind of food you can share… though if you’re like me, you’ll “share” by offering one slice and quietly keeping the rest.

Then there are the burgers, juicy, messy, and oh-so-satisfying.

Pair one with a Red Ale and you’ve got yourself a match made in brewpub heaven.

If you’re feeling experimental, the Blackboard Specials are where Toit really shows off.

These are monthly changing dishes where the chefs get creative, and honestly, I’ve never had a dud from that list.

From fusion starters to indulgent mains, they keep things exciting for regulars.

And because Bangaloreans love their snacking, Toit doesn’t disappoint on the sides either.

Think spicy chicken wings, crispy calamari, and nachos loaded with toppings.

Perfect for nibbling while you sip your pint and catch up on gossip.

Now, here’s where I made a rookie mistake once: skipping dessert. Never do that at Toit.

Whether it’s their decadent chocolate-based desserts or lighter options, it’s the perfect way to round off the meal.

After all, what’s a night of indulgence without a sweet ending?

Vegetarians and vegans, you’re not left out either. Toit has plenty of meat-free options.

From fresh salads to hearty veggie pizzas and vegan-friendly mains.

And if you have any dietary restrictions, just let the staff know; they’re surprisingly accommodating.

The truth is, Toit doesn’t just serve “pub grub.” It serves comfort food with character.

Food that keeps pace with their beers, making sure you don’t leave either thirsty or hungry.

CSR: Beer With a Heart

Now, here’s the thing that makes me respect Toit even more.

It’s not just about pouring beer and serving pizzas.

Behind the buzz of the pub and the clink of pint glasses, there’s a whole lot of heart.

And I don’t mean that in a cheesy “beer made with love” kind of way (though that’s true too).

I mean actual, on-the-ground work that gives back to the community.

From the very beginning, Toit has been involved with NGOs and charitable organisations across different causes.

Education, social upliftment, women’s rights, accessibility for differently-abled individuals, animal rescue, you name it.

It’s rare to see a pub in Bangalore that goes beyond just business and makes giving back a part of its identity.

One of my personal favourites is their Angel Tree initiative during the holiday season.

Picture this: customers, after enjoying their pints, get a chance to bring smiles to kids by gifting them presents.

It’s like the festive cheer from the beer spills over into the community.

Honestly, that’s the kind of hangover I don’t mind having.

Then there’s their Charity of the Month program, where proceeds from brewery tours and special beers or menu items go directly to NGOs.

It’s such a simple yet impactful idea, every sip and every bite you enjoy at Toit could, in some way, help fund education, empower women, support animal welfare, or build livelihoods for marginalised communities.

Drinking beer and doing good? Now that’s a combo I can get behind.

And here’s where Toit really shines. They don’t do it alone.

They actively involve their patrons in these initiatives.

So the next time you’re sipping your Tint-In-Wit or digging into a wood-fired pizza, you might unknowingly be part of something bigger.

It’s like every pint comes with a side of purpose.

To me, this is what sets Toit apart. It’s not just a brewpub in Bangalore.

It’s a space that blends fun with responsibility.

A place where the community isn’t just the people who come in for a drink, but also the people whose lives get better because of what Toit stands for.

FAQs About Toit Bangalore

Do I need to book a table at Toit?

Honestly, if you’re planning to walk in on a Friday night without a reservation, may the beer gods be with you. 😅 Toit gets packed (and I mean packed). A reservation is always a good idea if you want to skip the long waiting line.

What kind of beer does Toit serve?

Oh, this is where Toit really shines! From light lagers to strong ales, fruity IPAs to dark stouts — they brew it all, fresh and on tap. Their signature ‘Basmati Blonde’ and ‘Tintin Toit’ are crowd favorites, but honestly, it’s hard to go wrong.

Is Toit only about beer?

Nope! While beer is the star of the show, the food menu is equally tempting. Think pizzas, burgers, small plates, and even some dishes that feel like fancy pub grub with a desi twist. Perfect for pairing with whatever’s in your pint.

Do they serve alcohol other than beer?

Yep, for the non-beer drinkers in the group (we all have at least one friend 🙃), Toit has cocktails, sangrias, ciders, and a decent selection of spirits too.

Is Toit family-friendly?

Surprisingly, yes. Families often come in during the day, and you’ll spot kids enjoying pizzas while parents sneak in a pint. Post-evening though, the vibe shifts into full-on pub mode.

How’s the pricing at Toit?

Pretty pocket-friendly considering the quality. Craft beers usually cost less than what you’d pay for imported bottled ones elsewhere, and the food portions are generous. It’s one of those rare places where both your taste buds and your wallet leave happy.

Where all can I find Toit?

The OG is in Indiranagar, Bangalore. But Toit didn’t stop there — they’ve spread their wings to Pune and Mumbai too. (Because why should Bangalore have all the fun?)

Does Toit do takeaways or deliveries?

Yes, but only on food. Beers are strictly an on-location love affair. Trust me, fresh from the tap at Toit hits differently than any bottle or can you’ll find at home.

Final Thoughts: Why I Keep Going Back

So the next time you’re planning a night out, ditch the usual and head to Toit Indiranagar or Toit Mahadevapura.

Trust me, your taste buds (and Instagram feed) will thank you.
